This boxed set of 10 notecards with envelopes features 5 different paintings by Colorado artist Al Wynne (1922-2009). Tragically, the majority of Wynne's lifetime artistic output (together with that of his wife, noted ceramist Lou Wynne [b. 1930]) burned with their home and studio in the Black Forest Fire of June 2013, making the works preserved in collections such as at Kirkland Museum especially important.
The paintings featured on these cards include:
Orange Over Red, 1959
Oil on linen, 46 x 30 inches
Collection of Al & Lou Wynne
The Procession, 1963
